The Alarm Lock Trilogy Networx PDL6200-26D is a Grade 1 cylindrical electronic access control lock that combines a digital PIN keypad with a built-in HID proximity card reader. The lock also includes a Door Position Switch and Request-to-Exit feature for monitoring door status and exit activity.

As part of the Trilogy Networx system, the PDL6200-26D can communicate wirelessly through compatible Networx gateway equipment, allowing administrators to manage users, schedules, lock settings, and audit information from a networked computer.

PIN and Proximity Access

The PDL6200-26D provides two electronic credential options. Authorized users can enter a programmed PIN through the metal keypad or present a compatible HID proximity card or key fob to the integrated reader.

The keypad supports 3- to 6-digit user codes and can be configured for different access levels and functions. The system supports up to 5,000 users.

Door Position and Request-to-Exit Monitoring

The PDL6200 adds Door Position Switch and Request-to-Exit functionality to the Trilogy Networx cylindrical lock platform. These features allow compatible access control systems to monitor whether the door is open or closed and identify authorized exit activity.

For real-time integration with third-party access control platforms, the appropriate enterprise software and integration equipment are required.

Networx Wireless Management

Networx technology allows compatible Trilogy locks to communicate with a central management system through Ethernet or 802.11 wireless gateway equipment. Administrators can remotely manage users, schedules, lock features, and audit information without programming each lock individually at the door.

Wireless programming and centralized management require compatible Networx gateway hardware and DL-Windows or compatible enterprise software.

Audit Trail and Scheduling

The PDL6200 supports up to 500 scheduled events and stores up to 35,000 audit-trail events. Access activity and configuration information can be retrieved through the compatible Networx management system.

Emergency Lockdown

Networx functionality supports system-wide emergency lockdown control. Depending on the system configuration, a global lockdown can be initiated from a networked PC or compatible Networx device.

Grade 1 Cylindrical Lock Construction

The PDL6200 uses a heavy-duty cylindrical lockset with a rugged clutch mechanism. When the lock is secured, the outside lever can rotate without retracting the latch. Valid credentials, a key override, or an authorized remote command allow the outside lever to retract the latch, while the inside lever provides immediate egress.

Installation and Compatibility

The PDL6200-26D is designed for doors measuring 1-5/8 to 1-7/8 inches thick and uses a standard 2-3/4-inch backset. The lock is non-handed and uses standard ANSI A115 cylindrical lock preparation with additional through-bolt holes.

The standard key override cylinder uses an SC1 keyway. Additional cylinder tailpieces are provided for compatibility with certain other cylinder formats.

Power

The lock operates on four standard C-cell batteries. The system provides audible and visual indicators for lock operation and low-battery conditions. Alarm Lock specifies a typical battery life of more than five years under normal operating conditions.
