The Beatbot AquaSense 2 is a cordless robotic pool cleaner designed to clean pool floors, walls, and waterlines. It combines intelligent path optimization, SonicSense™ obstacle detection, dual-pass waterline scrubbing, and automatic water-surface parking in a single pool-cleaning system.
Floor, Wall & Waterline Cleaning
The AquaSense 2 uses a four-motor system to clean multiple areas of the pool. Its cleaning system is designed to handle pool floors, climb compatible walls, and scrub along the waterline.
The robot uses dual-pass waterline scrubbing, allowing the waterline area to be cleaned twice during each cleaning pass.
CleverNav™ Intelligent Navigation
CleverNav™ navigation works with SonicSense™ technology and 16 sensors to help the AquaSense 2 optimize its cleaning path and detect obstacles. Two ultrasonic sensors are included within the sensor system.
The robot is designed to adapt its cleaning path to different pool shapes, including rectangular, round, kidney-shaped, and freeform pools.
Automatic Water-Surface Parking
When the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery is low, the AquaSense 2 can automatically return to the water surface and park for easier retrieval.
SmartDrain™ helps release water from the robot after it reaches the surface, reducing the amount of water carried when removing the unit from the pool. When the robot is on the surface, one-click parking and retrieval functions are available through the Beatbot App.
5,500 GPH Suction
The AquaSense 2 features a maximum tested water-flow rate of 5,500 GPH. The water pump and brushless motor system provide suction for collecting pool debris and supporting wall cleaning.
Beatbot notes that 5,500 GPH is the highest rate measured in its internal laboratory testing, so actual performance may vary depending on operating conditions.
150 μm Filtration
A 2L filter basket with 150 μm filtration captures common pool debris such as leaves, hair, sand, and insects. The filter is accessed from the top of the robot for removal and cleaning.
Up to 4 Hours of Floor Cleaning
The AquaSense 2 uses a 10,000 mAh lithium-ion battery and can provide up to 4 hours of continuous floor cleaning under specified conditions. Beatbot lists a recommended pool bottom area of up to approximately 3,230 square feet.
Wall and waterline cleaning can operate for up to approximately 3.5 hours, depending on conditions and cleaning mode.
Wireless Charging Dock
The included vertical wireless charging dock provides a dedicated place to charge and store the AquaSense 2. Full charging takes approximately 4 hours under typical conditions.
Advanced Wall Cleaning
The AquaSense 2 is designed to climb compatible pool walls using its traction and suction system. It can work across surfaces such as concrete, ceramic tile, vinyl, and fiberglass, subject to pool and operating conditions.
The robot can also clean compatible pool steps when the step dimensions and water depth provide enough area for the robot to operate.

Pool Compatibility
The AquaSense 2 is designed for both above-ground and in-ground pools. It supports a variety of pool shapes, including rectangular, round, kidney-shaped, and freeform configurations.
Compatible pool surfaces include concrete, ceramic tile, vinyl, fiberglass, and other suitable surfaces. The AquaSense 2 can also operate in saltwater pools when the salt concentration is below 5,000 ppm.
Pool Steps & Water Depth
The AquaSense 2 has a specified working depth of approximately 1.64 to 9.84 feet. Beatbot states that the robot can clean compatible pool steps when the steps are sufficiently wide and have more than approximately 0.98 feet of water depth.
Beatbot App
The Beatbot App provides access to supported cleaning modes and robot functions. The AquaSense 2 can operate without Wi-Fi using its onboard controls, while app connectivity provides additional control and monitoring features.
When the robot is on the water surface, the App can be used for one-click parking and retrieval. The robot cannot be remotely commanded to return through the App while it is actively cleaning underwater.
