The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra is a cordless AI robotic pool cleaner designed for comprehensive cleaning of pool floors, walls, waterlines, and the water surface. It combines HybridSense® AI Pool Mapping, AI debris detection, multi-level platform cleaning, dual-side surface brushes, remote navigation, and ClearWater™ natural water clarification in one robotic system.
With 27 advanced sensors, an AI camera, ultrasonic and infrared sensing, and CleverNav™ navigation, the AquaSense 2 Ultra is designed to map pool environments, identify obstacles, and optimize cleaning paths across complex pool layouts. The robot can also automatically return to the pool edge and park above the water surface for easier retrieval.

HybridSense® AI Pool Mapping
The AquaSense 2 Ultra uses a combination of an AI camera, dual TOF sensors, infrared sensors, and ultrasonic sensors to map the pool environment and help optimize its cleaning route. The system is designed to recognize pool structures and obstacles while adapting its path to different pool configurations.
5-in-1 Pool Cleaning
The AquaSense 2 Ultra combines several cleaning functions in one cordless robot. It can clean the pool floor, walls, waterline, and water surface while also supporting ClearWater™ natural water clarification.
The robot is designed for pools with a variety of shapes and surfaces, including rectangular, round, kidney-shaped, and freeform pools. Compatible pool surfaces include concrete, vinyl, fiberglass, ceramic tile, stainless steel, and other suitable pool materials.
AI Cruise Debris Detection
AI Cruise technology uses the robot's onboard vision system to identify debris during cleaning. The AquaSense 2 Ultra can detect various types of leaves and other debris, with additional recognition capabilities available through software updates.
Multi-Level Pool Cleaning
The AquaSense 2 Ultra can adapt its cleaning path to pools with multiple levels and elevated platforms. Platform cleaning requires sufficient water depth and platform area for the robot to operate properly. Beatbot specifies a minimum platform water depth of approximately 13.7 inches (35 cm).
Surface Cleaning with Dual-Side Brushes
In surface-cleaning mode, the AquaSense 2 Ultra uses dual-side brushes to help collect floating debris near pool edges and corners. Surface cleaning can also be controlled through the Beatbot App, including remote navigation and poolside parking.
ClearWater™ Natural Clarification
The built-in ClearWater™ system uses natural, recycled crab-shell-derived clarifying agents to bind fine particles in the water for easier filtration. The clarification system is designed to help remove fine particles, dirt, oil, and residue from pool water.
The clarifying agent kit is sold separately.
Automatic Poolside Parking
When cleaning is complete or the battery level is low, the AquaSense 2 Ultra can return to the pool edge and park above the water surface. SmartDrain™ automatically releases water from the robot to reduce its weight, making retrieval easier.
Long-Running Battery
The 13,400 mAh lithium-ion battery provides different operating times depending on the selected cleaning mode. The robot is rated for up to 10 hours of continuous surface cleaning, up to 5 hours of floor cleaning, and up to 4.5 hours of wall and waterline cleaning.
Full charging takes approximately 4.5 hours.
Filtration System
The AquaSense 2 Ultra uses a dual-basket filtration system consisting of a larger 4.0L basket and a thinner 3.7L basket. The filtration system combines 150μm and 250μm filtration levels to capture different sizes of pool debris.
App and Wireless Connectivity
The AquaSense 2 Ultra connects to the Beatbot App using dual connectivity with 5G/2.4G Wi-Fi and 2.4G Bluetooth. Through the app, users can monitor the robot, switch supported cleaning modes, remotely control the robot while it is on the water surface, and activate poolside parking.
Pool Compatibility
The AquaSense 2 Ultra is designed for both above-ground and in-ground pools and is suitable for a variety of pool shapes and surfaces. Beatbot states that it can also operate in saltwater pools with salt concentrations below 5,000 ppm.
The specified working depth is approximately 1.31 to 9.84 feet. Step and platform cleaning depends on the available water depth and surface dimensions.
