DoorKing 1802-091 Flush Mount EPD Telephone Entry System
The DoorKing 1802-091 is a flush-mount telephone entry system with an Electronic Programmable Directory (EPD) designed for residential, commercial, multi-tenant, and small apartment applications. The system provides hands-free, full-duplex voice communication, allowing visitors to select a resident from the electronic directory and communicate with them through a connected telephone line.
Residents can grant or deny access using their telephone's touch-tone controls, while the system's integrated keypad and electronic directory provide a straightforward interface for visitors.
Electronic Programmable Directory
The integrated EPD features a single-line 16-character LCD display and stores up to 100 resident names and telephone numbers. Programmable directory codes from 1 to 4 digits can be used to quickly access individual directory entries.
The illuminated keypad and A-Z-CALL buttons provide convenient operation for visitors, while the display provides programming assistance and indicates when access has been granted.
Hands-Free Full-Duplex Communication
The 1802-091 provides full-duplex voice communication, allowing visitors and residents to communicate through the telephone entry system without requiring a handset at the entry panel.
Visitors can call a programmed resident, and the resident can use their telephone's touch-tone controls to grant or deny access.
Dual Relay Access Control
Two relays provide control for separate access functions, such as a vehicular gate and pedestrian gate. The system also includes an auxiliary input that can be programmed for relay activation or to dial a preprogrammed telephone number.
Programmable Access Features
The system supports programmable access functions for managing entry codes and operating schedules. Entry-code time zones and hold-open time zones can be configured for applications that require scheduled access.
Additional features include flash entry codes, a built-in clock, and a postal lock provision.
Flush-Mount Installation
The 1802-091 is designed for flush mounting, making it suitable for installations where the entry panel is recessed into the wall or other appropriate mounting structure.
The faceplate is constructed from stainless steel, while the sub-plate is galvanized steel. The metal keypad and offset speaker openings are designed for use in outdoor entry applications.

Installation & Connectivity
The 1802-091 connects to a compatible telephone line through an RJ11C or RJ11W jack and operates from the included 16 VAC, 20 VA transformer. It is intended for flush-mount installation and is designed around traditional telephone-entry applications.
For installations requiring cellular or VoIP connectivity, compatible DoorKing connection options and subscriptions may be required depending on the selected configuration. Verify system compatibility before installation.
