PIN and HID Proximity Access

The PDL6500CRL-10B provides two electronic access methods in one lock. Users can enter a programmed PIN through the 12-button keypad or present a compatible HID proximity card or key fob to the integrated reader.

The keypad supports 3- to 6-digit PIN codes and can be programmed for different user levels and access functions. The proximity reader operates at 125 kHz and is designed for compatible HID proximity credentials.

Networx Wireless Management

Networx technology allows compatible locks to communicate with a central management system through Ethernet or 802.11b/g gateway equipment. Administrators can manage users, schedules, and audit information without having to program and retrieve records at each individual door.

Networx functionality requires compatible gateway and software equipment. The lock can also be programmed through its keypad for basic functions at the door.

Audit Trail and Scheduled Access

The PDL6500 series supports up to 500 scheduled events and stores up to 35,000 audit events. This provides a record of access activity that can be retrieved through the compatible Networx management system.

Classroom Mortise Function

The classroom-function mortise lock uses a stainless-steel latch bolt with 3/4-inch projection and a deadlocking latch. The supplied configuration includes a straight cam and a standard mortise cylinder for key override.

Commercial-Grade Construction

The lock body meets BHMA specifications for Grade 1 locks and is designed for commercial mortise applications. The PDL6500 series is also UL listed to the 10C positive-pressure specification and includes an ADA-compliant lever set.

Installation and Compatibility
