The Beatbot Sora 70 is a cordless robotic pool cleaner designed for broad pool coverage, including the water surface, floor, walls, waterline, and compatible shallow-water platforms. Its JetPulse™ water-surface cleaning system, 6,800 GPH water flow, SonicSense™ obstacle avoidance, and smart surface parking combine multiple cleaning functions in one robot.
Complete Pool Coverage
The Sora 70 is designed to clean multiple areas of the pool:

In Pro Mode, the Sora 70 can clean all five areas in a complete cleaning cycle. Standard Mode covers the underwater areas but excludes water-surface cleaning from the same cycle.
JetPulse™ Water-Surface Cleaning
The Sora 70 incorporates JetPulse™ technology for water-surface cleaning. Its dual converging jets are designed to draw floating debris toward the robot rather than simply pushing debris away.
This allows the Sora 70 to collect floating debris directly from the water surface without requiring a separate robotic skimmer.
6,800 GPH Water Flow
The Sora 70 features a maximum water-flow rate of 6,800 GPH. The system is designed to handle everyday pool debris ranging from fine particles to larger debris.
Actual cleaning performance can vary depending on pool conditions, debris load, water conditions, and other environmental factors.
SonicSense™ AI Ultrasonic Obstacle Avoidance
SonicSense™ technology uses dual ultrasonic sensors together with AI processing to detect obstacles and help the Sora 70 adjust its path while cleaning.
The robot also uses optimized S-shaped cleaning paths that adapt to different pool shapes to help cover the available cleaning area.
Shallow-Water & Platform Cleaning
The Sora 70 can operate in water as shallow as approximately 8 inches and is designed to clean compatible shallow platforms and steps measuring at least 3.3 ft × 3.3 ft (1 m × 1 m).
This makes the Sora 70 suitable for pools with compatible tanning ledges, swim-outs, platforms, and other shallow-water areas.
Floor, Wall & Waterline Cleaning
Dual-group roller brushes help the Sora 70 clean pool floors and climb compatible sloped and bowl-shaped surfaces. The robot also pauses at the waterline to scrub the transition area between the pool wall and water surface.
Dual Filtration System
The Sora 70 includes a 6L, 150 μm filter designed for everyday pool cleaning and larger debris. An optional 3 μm ultra-fine filter is also supported for applications requiring finer filtration.
The 3 μm filter is sold separately and is intended for lower-debris conditions where finer particle filtration is desired.
6L Debris Basket
The 6L debris basket provides substantial capacity for collected debris. The larger basket is designed to help maintain water flow during cleaning while reducing the frequency of debris removal.
Smart Water-Surface Parking
When cleaning is complete or the battery is low, the Sora 70 can automatically rise to the water surface and navigate toward the pool edge for retrieval. SmartDrain™ automatically releases water from the robot after it reaches the surface and moves toward the edge.
When the robot is operating on the water surface, the Beatbot App can be used to activate one-touch docking and remote surface navigation.

A 10,000 mAh battery provides different operating times depending on the cleaning mode:

Pool Compatibility
The Sora 70 is designed for above-ground and in-ground pools and supports a variety of pool shapes, including rectangular, round, kidney-shaped, and freeform pools.
The robot can operate in shallow-water areas as well as deeper sections within its specified working depth. Pool surface, shape, water depth, steps, platforms, and other physical conditions can affect cleaning performance.
